Food Services

  • Canteen services will only be considered when the risk level of infection is LOW and we have completely resumed face to face learning. 
  • Deliveries of food from home during the school day will not be allowed due to the risk of contamination from contact and surfaces. 
  • Students should bring their food from home with them each day. Food consumption will be limited to specific locations (indoor and outdoor) where physical distancing is easily implemented and monitored. 

 

Uniforms

  • will be purchased once we are given the green light to open face to face. More information will be shared once we have a face to face start date.

Taking Care of Business Week
Wednesday, August 5-7 August 2020 through Tuesday 11 August 2020 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (closed Saturday and Sunday).

What 4 Things should I do before I come to Taking Care of Business Week?

  1. Pay 1st Semester Tuition or set Payment Plan
    Make sure you have paid your semester 1 tuition fees, or you have signed a payment plan with the finance department. Only students that have settled the first semester fees and payment plans are settled will have their resources ready for pick up on the scheduled day. If you are not sure, please contact [email protected] before you come on your scheduled day.
  2. Pay for Tablet, Exercise Book Package, and Art Supplies (email [email protected])
  3. Send Payment Receipt to Finance
  4. Fill out and submit the ARIS Security ID Card/ Car Sticker Application Form

 

What will I pick up during the Taking Care of Business Week? 

  • ARIS Security ID Card for you and your ward(s) (additional caregivers)
  • ARIS Security Car Sticker
  • Exercise Books
  • *Early Years Unit Activity Kit
  • Year 7 Art Kit & Tablet
  • New Secondary Students Tablet
  • Pre-paid New Tablet Orders

You will need to fill out the ARIS Security ID Card/ Car Sticker Application Form. New Families must follow the online instructions to upload your family, driver, caregiver photos before 1st August to allow time for processing and printing.

 

*Early Years Unit Activity Kit

The EYP Unit Activity kit will be given to all Early Years students (Playgroup, Nursery, and Reception).  The aim of these kits is to provide students with the resources they will need to participate in virtual learning and they will use the same kits once we resume, Hybrid, or Face to Face to avoid sharing of items. 

  • The kit includes all of the resources related to the UOI themes the teacher will be covering during virtual/on-campus learning.  If we continue virtually, kits will be updated with new resources based on the child’s needs and the new unit. 

 

PRIMARY & SECONDARY ITEM PICK-UP WILL BE HELD ON THE SECONDARY CAMPUS IN EAST LEGON

Please make sure you look at the table below to pick-up your ward(s) pre-paid items. For your convenience, we have set up a drive-through service. You will determine your family’s surname and see what day you should come for your items.

Example:
The Toutoungi kids will pick up on Friday 7 August 2020. The pick up is first come first served and you must be sure you have paid your first-semester tuition and your class resource fee by 4th August 2020 to make sure your wards names are on the list and their items are ready.

  • All Secondary Orientations will run from 17 to 29 August

Secondary Student/Parent Orientation Module
Secondary Middle Years Programme (MYP) 

To be successful in our online learning platforms, parents need to know how our school Tech Tools work and have a general understanding of our resources and programmes. This introduction module will guide parents/students on how to use all of the ARIS Tech Tools. This is a mandatory unit for all students and parents.  Specific group details will be shared via email.

It is important to note that the moment schools in Ghana are advised to reopen gradually by the government, it will take the ARIS management team two weeks to finalise the Hybrid Model Schedule for all families and divisions.
